Description
The CNS DSP project aims to accelerate the market adoption of communication, navigation, and surveillance data services by creating and validating three main CNS data solutions: multisensory Surveillance Tracking Service, end-to-end ATC services, and GNSS-related added-value Navigation Services. These solutions will provide data to aviation and non-aviation stakeholders via a dedicated digital platform, with data sourced from certified entities. Data is delivered through APIs and SWIM interfaces, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards for use in critical applications. The solutions support the virtualisation of air traffic control centres, unmanned aircraft systems traffic management, and the development of new applications, including artificial intelligence. They contribute to the Digital European Sky vision by enhancing digitisation, connectivity, and data sharing across multiple key performance areas. Additionally, the project seeks to improve CNS infrastructure by transitioning from physical assets to a service-based approach, enabling data-sharing between air navigation service providers and other aviation stakeholders. This transition will help enhance CNS resilience and efficiency, promoting the development of new services and applications
