Description

This paper aims to stimulate discussion among Europe’s aviation stakeholders and policymakers on
the contribution that air traffic management needs to make towards aviation’s climate neutrality ambitions.

Among the key questions to address:

  • What would it mean in concrete terms to become the most efficient and environmentally friendly sky to fly in the world?
  • Do we have the right ambition level for environmental performance in the European ATM Master Plan?
  • What does the next edition of the Master Plan need to capture for Europe to meet the climate neutrality objective?
