  • You understand that these services are available out of the box with Jumpstart.
  • You understand that you can discover and experiment with IWXXM 1.0 and/or FIXM 3.0 at your own pace.
  • You understand how you can quickly get these services up and running.
  • Use the IWXXM 1.0 and/or FIXM 3.0 services with live data to quickly prototype your own developments of service consumers.
  • You understand how you can experiment with the AIXM 4.5 to AIXM 5.1 conversion service.

Demonstration overview:

  • Jumpstart DC consumes a wide range of services in the SWIM way and seamlessly integrates the resulting information with a Graphical Interface.
  • Furthermore Jumpstart DC also provides services for machine to machine communication in the SWIM way.
  • These built-in services scope include three kinds of information: world-wide current METAR and TAF in IWXXM 1.0 format.access to the NM B2B Flight services via FIXM 2.0 and FIXM 3.0 format.local conversion of data in AIXM 4.5 format to AIXM 5.1 format.
  • The live demonstration of this Webinar will show how to start up the built-in services and how to access and effectively consume the IWXXM 1.0, FIXM 3.0 (focus on Flight Planning) and AIXM built-in services using SoapUI.
  • Contextual architectural information will be provided on the set up of these built-in services.

Developer entries

Audience:

  • Anyone with an interest in developing SWIM enabled applications that provide and/or consume services.
  • Anyone with an interest in updating/improving  the source code of Jumpstart DC.
  • The webinar will be highly technical.

Objectives:

  • You see how Jumpstart DC can accelerate your understanding of technologies and data exchange models that you, as developer, are not yet familiar with.
  • Understand the layers involved for SWIM enabled applications that provide and/or consume services.
  • Know where to quickly find the code in Jumpstart DC for your particular area of interest.
  • How to observe the execution flow of the code and the data structures.
  • Capture a trace of the sent and received XML messages.
  • Learn how you can change the source code of Jumpstart DC and experiment the effects of such changes autonomously and at your own pace.

Demonstration overview:

  • A significant part of the Webinar will consist of a live demonstration of:the structure of the source code of Jumpstart DC.
  • Setting breakpoints and observing and influencing the execution flow with a zoom-in on interactions that use SOAP based Web Services.
  • Changing the source code and executing it.obtaining a trace of messages exchanged in SOAP based Web Services interactions.
  • Sharing lessons learned and caveats.

Jumpstart TI (PKI/STS)

Audience

  • Anyone interested in PKI and STS.
  • Pre-requisites: basic understanding of X.509 certificates and WS-Trust.
  • A subsequent Webinar on Jumpstart Services will build on this Webinar.

Targeted objectives:

  • You understand the layers involved in securing the interactions in the SWIM manner.
  • You are aware of the need of supporting technical infrastructure in order to secure the interactions between participants in the SWIM manner
  • You understand that tools are available to accelerate your understanding of this supporting technical infrastructure.
  • You know where to quickly find the tools and supporting documentation to set up your own supporting technical infrastructure.
  • You understand how to use these tools and supporting documentation in order to perform your self-paced and fully autonomous discovery.

Overview of what will be shown:

  • Interoperability framework, layering and locations for security controls.
  • The selected technology: PKI and STS.
  • Walk through pointers to tools and to documentation.
