SESAR at Paris Air Show
The SESAR 3 JU and partners are delighted to be supporting the Paris Air Show in 2023.
You will be able to find SESAR representatives and projects in two areas during the event:
- European Commission exhibition stand, whereby the SESAR 3 JU projects will be delighted to host a series of briefings to participants interested to find out more about European ATM modernisation efforts. Join us in Hall 2A, stand number #B276
Paris Air Lab, where the SESAR 3 JU will be showcasing how it aims to make Europe the most environmentally friendly sky to fly in the world. Join us at the Paris Air Lab to discover the solutions that are supporting greener taxiing, climate-optimised trajectories, and more energy-efficient approaches and landings at airports.
The topic of efficient air traffic operations will also be explored in a dedicated panel session on 19 June, 16:30 – 17:30:

Air Traffic Management’s contribution to green aviation

Smarter ATM means lowering aviation carbon emissions. That is why SESAR is working alongside other stakeholders in the aviation ecosystem to address ATM inefficiencies. This requires looking at every phase of flight and seeing what technologies can be used to optimise operational efficiency. It also requires synchronised data exchange between operations on the ground and in the air to ensure maximum impact.
This session aims to discuss the role that ATM modernisation can play in tackling the environmental challenges facing air transport in Europe today, in particular in terms of ATM.
It will bring together representatives from industry and the European Commission to explore what’s needed to accelerate the digital transformation of ATM and support a swift transition to greener aviation.
