SESAR Walking Tours 2025 - Walking Tour 10 - Wednesday 14 May
Wednesday 14 May
As air traffic continues to grow, the need for reliable, efficient and high-performing communication, navigation, and surveillance (CNS) systems has become increasingly evident. Europe faces the complex challenge of modernising aging infrastructure while ensuring sustainability, resilience, and seamless collaboration across stakeholders. The European CNS Evolution Plan is developed collaboratively by the CNS community under the leadership of the CNS Programme Manager. It is set to become the strategic reference for the modernisation and optimisation of the European CNS infrastructure. It translates the European ATM Master Plan’s vision into an actionable roadmap (SDO 7 and 9). The aim of the CNS Evolution Walking Tour is to connect SESAR innovation cycle on CNS with operations and the overall optimisation of CNS. Throughout this first CNS tour, participants will learn more about the European CNS Evolution Plan, CNS related SESAR projects as well as various initiatives and tools for a future-proof and efficient CNS infrastructure in the European network.
