TOUR 4: Sustainable skies – Innovation for a climate-resilient future

This walking tour highlights SESAR’s efforts to make aviation more sustainable, resilient, and climate-aware. Through a series of live demonstrations and video showcases, you’ll discover how SESAR partners are translating climate research into operational tools and validated solutions. From reducing CO₂ and non-CO₂ emissions, to optimising ATC and enabling energy-efficient flight formations, each stop illustrates a unique contribution toward decarbonising aviation.

Join us as we explore innovative projects, such as AEROPLANE, GEESE, CONCERTO, and CICONIA SESAR research projects —each offering a concrete step toward greener, smarter skies.
