On February 25th, the VISORS project successfully held its first Community of Practitioners Workshop, bringing together experts, researchers, and stakeholders in the field of Distributed/Federated Real-Time Simulations (RTS).
The VISORS Community of Practitioners
The VISORS Community of Practitioners comprises members that contribute to and benefit from the VISORS projects results and future outcomes. It aims to gather valuable external feedback on the project's technical activities, as well as to assess the needs and expectations of RTS users and operators, in order to deliver a platform that can truly benefit the aviation validation infrastructure.
Interactive dialogue and knowledge exchange
During the workshop, the consortium presented the project's objectives and key use cases. Participants were actively engaged in discussions about their experience with RTS and Distributed/Federated RTS. The interactive session provided valuable insights, that will help to refine and enhance the VISORS prototype platform leading to a distributed interoperable solution. The event served as a dynamic forum for professionals to exchange knowledge and contribute to the project’s objective of demonstrating the potential for enhanced real-time, interoperability between specialised air traffic management simulators.
Looking ahead
VISORS will continue to engage with the Community of Practitioners, incorporating their input to drive forward innovative and effective validation solutions to tackle emerging airspace needs.
A special thank you to all participants for their valuable contributions to this fruitful discussion!
