On 31 May, the European Economic and Social Committee organised a public hearing on the second package of the Single European Sky.

The hearing brought together air transport regulators, airspace users, transport workers, airport operators and air-navigation service providers as well as representatives of the European Commission, the European Parliament, the upcoming Polish EU Presidency and delegates from the US Federal Aviation Agency (FAA). Carlo Borghini, SESAR JU Director for administration and finance updated the participants on SESAR developments and addressed also the future deployment phase.
