Interactive map of SESAR validations now online!

SESAR’s interactive R&D results release map is now online: it features all validation exercises conducted in an operational environment to assess the real-life benefits of SESAR releases.

Release 1 (ended February 2012) included 25 validation exercises
Release 2 will comprise 35 exercises in 2012
AIRE (Atlantic Interoperability Initiative to Reduce Emissions) completed 18 projects involving 40 airlines, airports, ANSPs and industry partners and conducted over 9000 flight trials.

SESAR’s interactive map will be updated regularly, as validation exercises proceed.
