Carlo Borghini

Carlo Borghini, an Italian national, holds a University degree in Business Economics from the University "L. Bocconi" in Milan, Italy, and is a certified internal auditor.

Carlo worked in different controlling positions with increasing responsibilities in the private sector before joining the European Commission's Directorate-General for Agriculture as an Internal Audit Supervisor in 2001. He later became Head of the Internal Audit Unit within the Commission's Directorate-General for Budget. In 2006, he was appointed Director of the Financial Services Division at the International Fund for Agricultural Development, an UN specialised Agency in Italy.

Carlo has been working as Director Administration and Finance at the SESAR Joint Undertaking since June 2008. In this position, he is especially responsible for the appropriate management of all resources and the facilitation and optimisation of the Undertaking's operations.
